    It's time for Dook to stop complaining about how tough it is to compete. Vandy, Stanford, and Northwestern have at times been very competitive in their respective leagues. Dook should be ashamed that Wake Forest is so much better than they are. For that matter the entire ACC should hang their heads a bit that Wake is among the best programs in the league.

    I think it's ironic that they added BC, Miami and VT to improve the league's football status (and bring in the $$$) only to have FSU, Miami regress and the rest of the league to continue to play the same shitty football they always have. As you said, Wake should embarrass 90% of the rest of the ACC.

    Duke had no commitment to football for many many years. That has changed and it will take awhile to realize the difference in philosophy but Cutcliffe is a program making hire and he will get it done.

    Just stole a 4* DT from Georgia Tech yesterday and a 4* QB from Arizona State last year.

    By all reports Cutcliffe is a very good hire for Duke. I was shocked that he would leave a very comforable position at Tennessee but I guess he figured that this was a situation where there was nowhere to go but up. I revert to my earlier comments that Duke must get over the tough accademic argument for their lack of football success. It can be done, it takes a lot of doing but it can be done.
