First of all congrats to the Red Storm

Now, I think Duke can and will be a sweet 16 team this year. However, without the ability to protect double digit leads in the last 5 minutes of games to marginal teams I just don't see them putting away the 6 and 7 seed teams or better.

I must say I was really dissappointed in K this game. Should of made it a point to stress not to inbounds the ball to the corner facing a full court trap press. Should have had the guy in the corner step out of bounds. Throw the ball to him and then inbound the ball to the guy who threw the ball to him. Oh well, we're still dancing just not a #1 seed.....probably wouldn't have been anyway.

The Kids have to execute!I would be shoked if K didnt stress it.This isnt a classic Duke squad.Too many early departures, after all K is recruiting more NBA caliber players and it stands to reason they will suffer more years like this one.

watching duhon make bad play after bad play has been the biggest shock to me this year.

Several of you dookies were touting him as conference player off the year, AA etc. during the off-season.

    of course YOU didn't sly.

As I recall you were saying dook would be lucky to finish in the upper division of the conference. I mean you were so pessimistic about your average recruits and your suspect coach.

You should be pleased with the way dook has far exceeded your expectations this year.

Come on wossa. I'm not that gullible. No, in reality Duke is competing for another ACC championship and should finish top 10 AP. Thats right about where I had them pegged. Now next year on the other hand...........

Duke is very young this year. If Sheldon Williams can continue to get better Duke may have a shot at a final four. They really do not have much inside on offense outside of Williams. Duhon has not stepped up like a lot of us thought he would. I would not count Duke out though the NCAA is wide open this year. No one is really very good.

As long as Duke gets to play rounds 1 & 2 on its 2nd homecourt (Greensboro), they'll be in the sweet 16.

And I hate that. Aside from a handful of obnoxious fans, that's the only real knock I have against their program. They rarely ever play any games truly away from home, and their record in those games tells the tale.

At Cameron or Greensboro, they're a force though. They get the benefit of every close call on those floors.
