    I HATE that the Big East is a better basketball conference than the ACC this year.

    Florida is overrated as hell. Duke and UCONN will split the votes for #1 and UCONN will be #1, but Duke doesn't have as hard of a road as UCONN will in the Big East. Redick was unbelievable today and showed why he is gonna be player of the year. You could tell he was tired and about to pass out by the end of the game but he kept plugging away. The only Blue Devil that showed up. McRoberts actually played pretty well in the second half when Williams was on the bench and Duke started coming back, and I REALLY think that Boykin should play a little more. He always looks kind of uncoordinated but when he is in the game good things always happen and he always plays well in the small amount of minutes he has. What blew the game today was bad defense and Shelden Williams playing awful down low on the offensive and defensive ends. Oh, and Greg Paulus playing like Bobby Frasor :thud:
    I knew after last week with the Patriots losing, the Panthers winning, Duke winning and UNC losing that something bad is bound to happen this week. Hopefully it doesn't carry over to tomorrow.:banginghe :banginghe

    I think GTown may have wrote the book on how to beat Duke this year. Just let Reddick have his and shut down the rest of the team.

    like coach k said, everyone on the team was "jj watching"....that is why they won't win the National Championship...and this year will prove to be just another failure for k.

    Georgetown had the bodies to bang with Williams down low. Even their guards looked to be 6-7 or if not tall, they were huge and stocky. When Nelson gets back I think this team will be a ton better defensively. Putting McRoberts on Bowman was a mistake but it's not like Melchionni did much better. It had nothing to do with Duke's offense not playing well, they scored 87 points. It's the defense that was so bad, and I really do think Nelson will help a lot when he gets back since he is a great rebounder down low for his size and he can play slashers as well. If you would have said this Duke team would be 17-1 right now and undefeated in the ACC I would've taken it.
