please find where I talked trash about this years team. I knew they would be good, but like Sly has pointed out, Gonzaga exposed our weaknesses early in the season, so there has been a recipe to beat that talented team all year. Combine that with terrible effort, the Heels will suffer many losses.

who here other than dukey thought the Heels would go undefeated? this team is very talented athletic wise but they are still learning how to play. that only comes with experience. they have only played a couple of close games all year. two road losses in the ACC plus the zaga game. not bad IMO..

I know I didn't, I stated before the season started that this team is going to have some problems no matter how talented. They are young, and sometimes with a young team you just don't know what you are going to get.

hence the duke team this year.. we've seen numerous games where they look awesome and then other games they look flat out horrible.. and then in the past 2 games.. the jekyll and hyde has taken place during the games.. we've started out well in both games and then gradually lost it the more the game went on.

Duke's recruits are a tad bit different. All of Duke's recruits are almost guaranteed 4 year guys. UNC could lose 4 players out of this recruiting class before they are seniors. Guaranteed 3 leave early. Also, if Duke gets Patrick Patterson they probably have 4 more McDonald's All Americans coming in next year. Patterson is the key. Duke needs a guy on the blocks really really bad. You have to have someone on the blocks to do well. Henderson will be good if he can develop a three point shot. What I've noticed about this team is that Duke goes as Jon Scheyer goes. if he does well, Duke wins. If he doesn't, Duke loses. He is the key. Paulus' three point shooting has been a pleasant surprise. He has been shooting the three great. He just needs to work on not having brainfarts in crucial moments of the game.

Dook is just as prone to lose guys early...It just so happens that they haven't been crushed by defections in the same way UNC has been. If Henderson had had the year most expected, he would likely leave early. It's still very possible that McRoberts goes pro this year.

Well there are a few differences, hard to compare apples for apples on who will leave early. K for the most part isn't going to have freshmen getting major minutes with a few exceptions, so he will gain an extra year from those players just by them not producing.

Another thing overall UNC's past two classes have been a lot better than dooks from the same production point, so it only makes sense for them to be tempted by agents and whatever else.
