Any other team you think they would fall out of the top 20?

At 18-5? Beating the teams they have beaten? No.

So they'll be wedged between Clemson and Arizona. Gotcha.

I'm worried about the Duke game as a Carolina fan. I'm fed up with this UNC team thinking they can cake walk through games. Last year's team won because they wanted the game more than the other team. That's something this year's team is lacking so far. Its like they expect to win just by showing up. Now they're walking into Cameron against a Duke team that is still pissed over losing last year's Senior Night game to a buncha freshmen. Duke could seriously win this if UNC overlooks them like they have State and VPI.

This team is more talented than the Championship team. But they had what last year's team had, the drive to win every game. I think they will step up like they did in the OSU game and realize the magnitude. Ellington and Wright will be the keys to victory.

agree 100%. Wednesday night wouldn't surprise me if UNC lost by 20 or won by 20. Just depends on which team wants to show up.

They were a little cocky going into Raleigh. I suspect Roy has their attention again. This is a young team still growing. They are very talented and probably have a tendency to drift a little.

I've never liked how the world ends with every loss for certain fans, especially in sports like basketball where one loss means little. I dislike State more than any other rival, including Duke, but that game just didn't bother me much. People keep talking as if Carolina was going through the motions and got blown out, but that wasn't what I saw at all.

The team looked a little shell-shocked to be in a close game, but I don't think they were coasting. Hansbrough and Lawson were certainly putting every effort into it, while the other guys seemed to play hard for the most part as well, they just weren't always playing smart.

Sometimes in basketball it's just not your night and the other team will beat you no matter what you do, and that was State's night. They made crazy shots, they attacked every rebound, and they played about as well as they possibly could. I don't think the Wolfpack will play a better game all season and yet Carolina lost by four on the road. I'm actually surprised to find that I'm not disappointed in UNC's performance, and I'm still very confident about their prospects in the two tournaments.

you're cool with a driving layup full length of the floor with 6 seconds left in the half? I don't mind losing, its the way they lost. Besides a couple of the players, they looked mentally abused. State deserved the win, they did everything almost perfect, 77% 2nd half shooting is unheard of...but the effort wasn't a Roy Williams type effort.
