The Xfiles was great in its prime. It suffered towards the end though. I think they never really knew how to wrap up the story line.

A stand alone film might be really good.

    I would hope no.

The alien conspiracy plot was a good one but the stand alone horror shows were some of the best. They could do several movies if they keep it that way.

He's hoping for it because it's this or the "Sureal Life " for him

I quit watchinga couple years earlier when I finally forced myself to realize they would never reveal everything. How did it end?

It was a kinda helter skelter ending where they kinda summed up what they thought had happened to a panel. It was all pretty confusing and unclear.

I hope they just ignore all that in the new movie.

basically- the whole consortium (with the smoking dude) were making deals with the aliens due to the fact that they had found out that the aliens were going to invade in 2012. so the more contact they had with the aliens over the years, they thought, the more of a chance they would have in finding a chemical compound that could kill them. at the same time, the aliens were onto this and began replacing government operatives with cloned super-soldiers who had traits like the aliens but were of human makeup- ergo mulder's abduction (when they did all those crazy tests and shit). the whole thing ended with mulder and scully figuring out what the truth was and how fucked up the future is, and basically accepted that you have to believe in some faith to get buy. gay.

    Hella.

Being a fan of the entire series, I was very disappointed in the way things were ended.

    Boo.

Gillian Anderson bummed a Marlboro off of me once when I visited Fox Studios with a friend in L.A.

    She's really short.
