I like the Clelin Ferrel pick, although I'm not sure hoping he falls to us is practical. Erik McCoy is good thinking, we need someone to step in for Kalil, and I can actually see him being the pick there. I barely make it to pick two on mocks right now though, so ignored the rest. But if we start with a DE and a Center in the first two rounds, I'll be happy.

I think most of us could, but Zach Allen is probably not falling to 77.

I don't think that would be wise. You're playing with fire at RB and QB. If either starter gets hurt, it's trouble.

I guess that means the answer is already on the roster...
But what are the chances of finding a starting RB or QB in the draft that starts at #16? RB maybe, QB not likely.
Then again that`s the best things about mocks, playing GM poker with someone`s chips.

    The daily mock:

    16. Carolina Panthers: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston Carolina really needs help in the pass rush, and the opportunity to get Oliver at No. 16 would be a coup. Oliver nursed a knee injury during last season but looked healthy at the combine with 32 bench reps (tied for third-best among defensive linemen) and a 120-inch broad jump.
    47. Carolina Panthers: J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford Carolina has spent heavily on wideouts over the last two drafts but has a need again after losing Devin Funchess. Arcega-Whiteside stands at 6-foot-3 and had a staggering 28 touchdowns in three seasons at Stanford.

    Another mock...

    16. Carolina Panthers | Clelin Ferrell | EDGE | Clemson
This pick could go a million different ways, but the Panthers would be smart to try and replace 17-year veteran Julius Peppers on the edge. Ferrell may not have Peppers’ rare athleticism, but his size, length and technique should still make him an effective pass rusher at the next level.
    47. Carolina Panthers | Deionte Thompson | S | Alabama
    77. Carolina Panthers | Miles Boykin | WR | Notre Dame
    100. Carolina Panthers | Ben Powers | OL | Oklahoma
    115. Carolina Panthers | Vosean Joseph | LB | Florida
