Thanks for the correction. I still think AJ would be a nice pickup.

Bottom line... We need some assemblance of and offense threat. We have NOTHING right now.

yeah I was going more for the mundane but powerful back idea.

But yeah, Andre Johnson would be the shit as high as 5 or 6.

I can't really disagree. I don't think Rodgers will make it past Detroit or Houston, and I've soured on Roy. Washington's career is more than likely over (another reason for McGahee and Manning to come on out) So if it is a first round WR, then it's AJ.

    On that same vein...
Think Pittsburgh would part with Chris Fuamatu-Ma afala for lets say a 4th rounder?

If we get a WR, QB and him the offense looks a lot better with a healthy Foster. Right?

If I'm Pitt, my price is higher.

The Bus is getting some rust on his tires.

Yea, I might go to a third but no higher than that. He does fit there system perfectly though and is still quite young. I'd hold on to him too.

Fuckin' Foster thing pisses me of. It's worse when I watch Portis whoop ass, b/c I was SURE we were about to pick him at 34.

    fuck.

I don't want anything to do with any more of Pittsburgh's cap casualties. I have had enough of their rejects. If they were worth signing Pittsburgh wouldn't let them leave. Foster and Huntley taught me that lesson. Not to mention their defensive players never play as well in other cities.

What would it take to get Plummer. I watched him warm up at the Panthers game. I was 5 rows behind the bench. His throws are crisp and tight. I don't see Arizona letting him get away, either.

    Depends on market.

As is, he's the best Unrrestricted Free Agent available, at least the most experienced. If a Brunnell comes available (I'm thinking though the Jags will draft a QB and "Chandler" Brunnell for a year and then cut him), Plummer's value drops obviously.

He throws a nice crisp pass, that's true, moves well, has a decent arm to throw deep. Problem is he makes bad plays as well as good. He has never been an efficent, accurate passer, and this is on a team with a very good pass blocking line. Probably better when things break down and he just has to make a play rather than reading defenses in a set environment. He could have success in this offense, as we tend to limit the ability of QBs to fuck up, and with a real deep threat, he could do damage.

Plummer makes Witten interesting. He's never really had a good possession TE in Arizona.

I've never thought much of Jake the Fake, myself. But he's probably a better option than than what's on the Panthers right now.
