Meh. It's a safe pick. Brown will be a good player for the entirety of his rookie contract but he's not a game changer.

I wanted Simmons but like Brown. Can we him with Short and clog up the middle and rush the QB?

The cards had to get their cheerleaders into the fan zoom. Think they're drawing pay on that?

I know the run game needed help but damn how they could've used Simmons in so many ways.

I imagine that having Shaq signed to a massive contract moved the organization away from Simmons since he's basically a better version of Shaq. Neither would be a true middle linebacker.

Just how much difference is there between Shaq Thompson and Simmons?
Sorry Collin your post came in as I was typing mine.

Simmons is faster, more agile, and more instinctive. Shaq is ok at covering tight ends and running backs whereas Simmons will neutralize them completely. But it remains to be seen how effective Simmons will be at run support as a linebacker, which is why a lot of teams viewed him as a safety.

Wirfs was a great pick for Tampa Bay. They're going to be a legitimate threat to New Orleans next season. I'm not high on A.J. Terrell and don't think he'll do much to fix Atlanta's secondary.

WTF are the Packers doing? Love is likely to bust anyway, but why on earth would you trade into the first to take him if you have Aaron Rodgers?
