These "journalists" are starting to get on my nerves. We all know it's a very slow sports year, but starting shit that may or may not be true is just a bad way to do things. Having a "rift" can be construed as a long ass war or something as simple as a disagreement over sock brands. Stop it with the "we should have taken Simmons" argument. It won't be known for a few years if it was the right pick or not. Inciting discontentment before the first practice pisses me off.

Matt Rhule has a great one in Christian McCaffrey, and Teddy Bridgewater has proven he can win. But the step-up from college to the pros is usually tough for rookie coaches. The NFC South is not the Big 12.

Well, I suppose we can expect 2 wins possibly. The rest will be gravy.

Most seasons I don't expect them to be all that is when I enjoy the season more by them exceeding my expectations.

I really don't think I could confidently predict anything for them right now considering all the changes.

We'll only know maybe a little better what to expect by preseason this year, really.

    Jordan Mack = not soft
I'd like to see him some real playing time and not just a special teams body.

    Panthers: Virginia LB Jordan Mack
Carolina added a long, versatile defender in the form of Jeremy Chinn. Mack is another sideline-to-sideline player who can alter the game. Matt Rhule is always going to take a chance on athletes that just need a bit more polish. Arkansas State wide receiver Omar Bayless has a really cool story of overcoming adversity. Panthers fans will have an easy time rooting for him, and his production last season speaks for itself.
