    Updating ongoing reports, ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Green Bay Packers will release veteran S Darren Sharper in the coming days as a salary cap casualty. He is due a $2.6 million roster bonus March 12.

    Jeez. Green Bay really is blowing up that roster. Hope for his sake Favre just retires. I'd hate to see him on a 4-12 team.

    Barron supposedly was a very bad interview, and Brown's wonderlic was bad. Barnes is the fair-haired tackle right now. Someone did say something about us liking him at 14, but it was a while back.

    It still might not be a bad idea to draft a tackle this year. It would depend on who else is on the board but unless Wahle or Wharton one is going to play right tackle we are gonna still have a hole.

    We could do much worse. Right now, it's tackle or WR/RB, and I think the team's made other arrangements for those positions right now. If we have a hole at RT, then I guess we need to handle that.

    I been chewing on this all morning, and I'm wondering, do we not have RT covered with Wharton or Wahle. would the needed lineman be better served being a Guard who can play center?
