Let's use this thread to identify players we would like to see in a Panther uniform next year. Maybe a sticky, Mags?

My first entry will be Wisconsin FS Jim Leonard. He has 18 int's thus far in his career and has return abilities. Reminds me of a Chad Cota type of defender, real blue collar type of player.

That may not be a pressing need depending on how Branch progresses throughout this season. I was thinking of Rivera and Wahle, the starting guards in Green bay are both FAs next year. Wahle is the younger of the 2 at 27. Rivera is 32.

I agree Mcfly, sounds like fun. Screw Chuckrichey, if he doesn't want to participate, then get off the frikin' computer.

In a Panther uni next season........Nugent, K, "THE" OSU- one of the most dangerous weapons in the nation in college football.

Also, Heath Miller, TE, UVA- very complete player, the recieving TE we haven't had since Walls. Also in an NFL type system in college.

I like Matt Jones of Arkansas. I don't know what in the hell he could do in the NFL, but I like him.

We just gave Kasay a 5 year contract. There is no way we draft a kicker. It is unlikely he lasts to the point where we would have a shot.

I too like Nugent, even though Kasay is signed for 5 more years...he could retire at anytime. I actually expect him to play through '05 or '06 and retire after that.

I'll have to watch for the TE from UVA, thanks for the tip.

Matt Jones is a good college QB, I am not so sure his game translates to the pro's.

Charles Rush and Tyler Reed are the OG's at PSU, both are solid I get them confused but one is better than the other. Levi Brown is the LT and a damn good one...he is only a JR. The RT, Andrew Richardson...pretty much sucks!

Michael Munoz has had some knee injuries, but he's played very well so far this year. A late first on him wouldn't be awful.

Anttaj Hawthorne gave Penn State fits tonight. Looks quick enough for a DT in our scheme.

Elton Brown of Virginia a Guard who is powerful but can move.

Kevin Burnett could be ok to spend a third on as an OLB.
