Forget positions. Lets send Felton and 4 PFs out there.

As long as the seats are filled with Tarhomers, who cares if they are any good?

Seriously. I hate this pick. I mean, May is a great player, and would be a great pick for anybody else, but not Charlotte :(

What about C? I know they have a guy, but is he really that good? I know May is not that tall, but he's big. I suspect its a homer move too, and I'm not crazy about it, but it truly is hard to get big strong guys.

I read and heard that Felton was a better defender than Paul. I know they would have taken Paul if they could, but its some consolation.

I also read Granger was fragile, and that Green was very immature, and maybe, if I remember right, that Wright was just a shooter. I suspect you really need 3 big guys, and if you play them all you can get 32 strong minutes from all of them. Or maybe you go 3 big guys and play a tough inside game. Or you can play quality D against a super C, and have some fouls to give. Who knows?

i really like May during the college season (and I'm a Duke fan) but didn't see the PF spot as a need. All I can think is that they see a rotation of Brezec, Okafor and May at the 4 and 5 spots, with May providing 25 min a game at PF and Okafor spending time at C.

Nah, he'd never last at C. For that matter, he'd not really last in the NBA as it is unless he gets some weight off.

I'm afraid Okafor's gonna have to go back to C and they'll run some of the offense through May in the post. Only way he'll show offense, because I was never confident that May could play facing the basket and be potent.

So we've got an LJ again, only fatter.

I think you've got it figured out. Still don't like the setup. Guess they don't have much faith in Primoz. And maybe they expect to go get a good SF/SG in FA :(

    I'll take Joe Johnson!
