    May's official height at the Chicago pre-draft camp was 6-8 1/2 at 258.8 lbs. He has a wingspan of 7-1 1/4 and a reach of 8' 9"

To compare, Charlie Villanueva, who measured at 6-9 1/2 had a wingspan of 7-0 1/4 but a reach of 9-1. Channing Frye measured at 6-10 1/2 with a wingspan of 7-2 1/2 and reach of 9-2 1/2. Ike Diogu measured at 6-8 with a span of 7-3 1/2 and 9-1. Hakim Warrick was 6-8 with a span of 7-2 and a reach of 9-0.

What this tells me is he is of average height with average arms but wide shoulders. That's why his wingspan #'s look better than his reach. Those massive shoulders and soft hands are what makes him a great rebounder.

FWIW, Felton's official height was 6-0 1/4, shorter than Chris Paul's 6-1, but the had the same wingspan of 6-4 1/4. But Ray Ray weighed in at 199 and Paul was 178.

**All these #'s are with shoes on.

First of all, why do people think it's an insult to relate people's moms and sexual acts? I mean, most people mom's are OLD. Why would you brag about THAT?

Second of all, my mom is dead. And if she were alive, she would have kicked your ass to the curb.

He's also taller, thinner, and has a bigger wingspan.
Sure, Wallace isn't the typical center. It took a Rasheed to make him "great", and I'd hate to waste Okafor's talents making May "good". I guess we could've done worse, but nobody saw PF as a need, and better players were out there.
Players you wouldn't have to project to a position, or for that matter hope that they weren't picked because of homerism.

    Hehehe...we drafted Oliver Miller.

    ESPN Insider on Sean May

Draft Projection: No. 9 to 16 overall

Notes: May was the MVP of the 2005 Final Four after posting 26 and 10 in the title game against Illinois. He averaged 22.3 ppg and 10.7 rpg on 67 percent shooting in the NCAA Tournament.

Positives: May is a beast in the paint. He possesses smooth moves around the basket, terrific hands, a nice jumper out to 20 feet, and is a tenacious worker on the glass. He's a solid defender who uses his quick feet to make up for his so-so athleticism.

Negatives: Scouts have always been a little wishy-washy on May because of his bulk, size and athleticism for his position. He plays like a center, but measures in at just 6-foot-9 -- or maybe shorter, according to some. He's struggled to keep his weight down throughout his career and is just an average athlete.

Summary: He's skilled around the basket, rebounds and has great hands. He also has weight and height issues, plays below the rim and has been an underachiever in college until recently. Doesn't quite have the huge draft window of Diogu, but doesn't have the upside either.
