    nobody said the May article was made up - it was a direct quote.

    Big difference in saying "I don't know whats going on" and making statements that Doh is resigning and a news confernece has been set up.

    jeez - you guys are nuts.

    I'm a huge UNC fan and even I quit reading the garbage on these "fan" sites. I would beleive about 25% of what I read on there.

    You will note that the page is full of linked articles.

    the one item in question has no link - its just their attempt to scoop based on someone's brother who has a friend that knows the secretary that used to sleep with the team manager that went out drinking one night with Phil Ford.

    Bump . . . On ESPN RADIO's DAN PATRICK SHOW (he's interviewing Davis Love III), he just reported that WCHL-AM in Chapel Hill (Campus Radio Station :confused: ) is reporting that Coach D'oh won't be back next year . . . Didn't say if he was explicity fired or resigned . . . WTF is going on here :mad: :mad: ? ? Coach goes from 8 to 19 wins and goes on a nice NIT run (yeah, yeah its the NIT, but post season is the post season folks) and he's going to be shown the door :confused: :confused: ? ? ? If that's the case, and they are going to gamble (again) that Roy Williams is going to 'come back home' (don't count on it . . Kansas is more or less the 800 lb. gorilla of the BIG XII . . Why come back and play 2nd fiddle to Duke :rolleyes: ? ? ? ) . UNC is quickly going thru head coaches like UCLA did after John Wooden retired back in 1975 . . . . No one is going to be as good as Deano guys, get over it!!!!!!!!!! If UNC starts changing coaches because some of the players don't like him, then UNC will never have a coach stay more than a few years then. If Dean was starting to coach today, I think he would never have gotten past his first few years when he struggling . . .
