    ..too bad there wasn't a "Rudy" moment in this game. GT was the team ND played in that movie.

    his team didnt play like a #2 team, but it is the 1st game of the year. They won more from ga tech sucking and not giving johnson the ball enough times. They should have replicated that enzone jump play as many times as possible.

    It was only a watchable game since ga tech showed flashes of potential, untill they went conservative on offense or Ball wanted to run for it every time. I'm sure people will blow Weiss until the end of the year for going for it with almost no time left in the 1st half with that QB draw.

    I cannot believe that SI is actually pretending that last night's performance is a validation of Brady Quinn's Heisman hype. They call him "the Mighty Quinn" and say they won the game thanks to him. Shit, they won the game in spite of him. GT's rush got in Quinn's head and he had happy feet all night long. Darius Walker and better play by the defense were why they won.

    I agree. Quinn looked kind of crappy, but then you look at his numbers and they actually are pretty good. Darius Walker won that game for them, and he is the only part of Notre Dame that is underhyped.

    Yep. The Penn State game next week will tell more. This is another reason I don't like the FSU/Miami game being those two schools first game. It would be like having UNC/Duke as the first basketball game of the year.
