If Diaw could bring his A game every night he would be an all star. He is just so inconsistent and disappears a lot. He has been hot lately so maybe he will keep it up and get us in the playoffs.

I'm actually a Diaw fan. But if we could get something good for him I'd take it. Next year we need Tyrus to start one way or the other. I'd put Boris back on the bench as our backup 3/4 if I were Silas. I think Boris would probably be fine too he doesn't strike me as a guy who needs to start. And if he's feeling his shot he provides a very dangerous weapon.

Not a Boris fan. I`ve never seen him show any passion or emotion. He just comes off as him having a day at the office just sitting in his cubicle doing some repetitive bullshit and not caring.

Boris just wants to find some tree in a meadow, sit down and have some wine, brie and bread.

Not that he is as good when playing on auto pilot but he reminds me of Julius Peppers. He is a guy who could be dominant but settles for adequate.

no worse off? 25-32 after a 9-19 start. so that's 16-13 with wallace and silas vs 7-11 since the trade.

16-13 over 29 games is a 45 win pace. i realize 45 wins isn't world beating, but that's 29 game stretch probably ranks as one of the best 29 game stretches the team has ever had.

there's little chance they'll be able to do much with the salary relief beyond MAYBE having some cap room to act as a go-between for over-the-cap teams looking to make lopsided deals. maybe in a few years the draft picks will turn into something productive. and maybe in a few years, people will be interested in the team.

yeah, i'm a diaw fan as well. i dig unconventional players, but ffs he's annoying at times. like i said when he was traded here, he wows you with what he's capable of and then pisses you off when he doesn't do it. i think, tho, he'll learn to be more selfish and get up shots.

he did amazingly well in phoenix and a large part of that was steve nash's leadership. nash is the kind of guy who's always encouraging his teammates instead of yelling at them. i think some players respond to that kind of system and i think that's been silas' approach with this team.

if boris can start putting up more shots, he'll do very well for us.

It is hard to make that analysis stick since Stephen Jackson has been hurt a lot since the trade as well. He has been our best player all year.

The loss to Washington hurts. I am not sure I really want to make the playoffs and get crushed in a 4 game sweep. Getting a lottery pick might be better. Who knows maybe we get lucky and land a top three selection.

of course, the bobcats DO play better against better teams. they split the series with chicago... dunno it'd really be a sweep.
