some might agree w/ me, but i dont think the braves have started the "heart" of their schedule yet....i think they go downhill from here.

exactly, but our bats will cool off some eventually, probably right about the time maddux hits his stride.....the guy will still get us 15 in the W column by years end. but who impresses me are the expos. braves can't shake em. they are playing some damn good ball too

they've already took a series from the giants, dodgers, and d'backs, #1-2-3 in the west, swept the cards and astros, 2-3 in the central, played 2 series with the expos and phils, 2-3 in the east, splitting series with each....except for the cubbies thats the top 3 from each division. sounds pretty "hearty" to me

most teams are finally settling in with lineups and pitching staffs....giants w/ barry bonds in and out, they aren't much, the d backs are a joke, dodgers are just now pickin up...

like i said before, we will once again watch the braves do great all year, to watch leo m. rock on the bench as his team falls in the first round again.

ouch, but i guess i have to take that one, seeing as i don't have much of an argument. i can only hope they finish it off this season.......if they can get away from those pesky expos, i tell ya, if the boredom during the games up there don't kill that team, they just might surprise

they dont have depth...i dont know much about them, but i dont see them going for only b/c their pitching and regualr lineup dont have any depth....

that last comment wasn't towards you man, i live in GSO, and all I see is the freakin braves, I hate the braves for that. The last time the Dodgers won the series I was 6 years old....didn't know much about baseball then.

oh i know, no offence taken whatsoever, like i said, i can't argue that one, they do fall on their face quite a bit in the fall.

i hear paul byrd might not be back at all this year, that hurts the staff, but maddux and hampton will hit their stride, big question is can their 4 and 5 starters get them enough quality starts, if so, then they will walk away with it, if not, its gonna be a close one i think

i never have much cared for the dodgers ever since i saw them sweep a doubleheader in my only trip to fulton co stadium back when i was 13 or so:mad: ..did see fernando pitch tho, and dale murphy went yard

IMHO i think maddux is done. I dont see him picking back up...maby im wrong or maby its wishful thinking, i think his fastball has slowed down, and hitters today are picking up on it alot better than the past....maby I am wrong....

I am only a Dodgers fan through the genes, my pops and his pops were Brooklyn fans, so they just followed them, and its one of those things, you pull for who Pops pulls for.

it seems you're dodgers pitching staff has pulled a braves from last year, that bullpen is putting out some awesome numbers, and then they hand it over to the second best closer in the game:D

and kevin brown appears to be back this year. i do like to see that, i always liked him, even tho he seems to have owned the braves
