    When I encounter a morbidly obese person I think...damn that's sad. Then immediately I think, why don't they do something to help themselves? That leads to 'what the ___ is it to you'? Do something to help yourself. Then I quit worrying about them and start worrying about my weight, bills, job, health, social skills, organizational skills etc........

    The problem is people are looking for ways to lose too much too quick. Starving yourself is a cop out. Shoot for losing a pound a week or every other week and before you know it you've lost 25-50 lbs in a year. Its these people who think they need to lose 10 lbs in a month that doom themselves to failure.
