I left my desk awhile ago to take a quick trip to the latrine - on my way, I pass by a morbidly obese woman at her own desk. I mean she must be every bit of 400 pounds at least. She wears brightly colored tops which make her look like "Kool-Aid" - just a different flavor everyday....

As I pass by, I see her sneaking into her desk drawer and slyly pulling out a strofoam tray of "creme horns" - or whatever you call those nasty things...

As I walked away - at first, I thought "step away from the Creme Horn..." but then I kinda' felt sorry for her - She knows how big she is and maybe just can't stop herself !!!

what do you think when you see stuff like that?

I think it's comparable to my inability to quit smoking so far.

My sister is 5'2 and almost 350lbs. She's miserable, but she's not willing to do anything about it. :(

Yeah, I'm disgusted by it, but feel sorry for those people. I assume that I can't understand why they're in that state and therefore can't judge, but like Yuck said, everyone has their demons.

With all the medical procedures that are out there and probably can be paid for with a loan or whatever it boils down IMO to whether or not you want to do it. Easier to stuff a twinkie in her jaw than to eat an apple and take a walk around the block
