    You are right, however, no one talked about Duke losing a key player outside of WYDD.

    Brain, as far as Markie Nelson goes , sockitome is right - he is going to determine how good they are this year mainly because Shav sucks and is now out. Nelson was already getting more minutes and being much more productive than Shav and that was before he went out with mono.

    dook is pretty much forced to go to a four guard lineup with Nelson, Ewing, Dockery, Reddick and Williams. I don't see Love moving in the starting lineup. Maybe Melchionni but he's a glorified guard as well. Mclure isn't starting material either.

    who else do they have?

    if dook is shooting lights out they may give teams in the ACC trouble but night in and night out I think that four guard lineup is going to struggle in the ACC.

    dook deserves to be ranked that high right now because they are high profile, one of the few undefeated teams (regardless of schedule) and do have some quality wins. Things will start shaking out once the ACC regular season kicks into gear.

    But I should remind you that in 1996? (the "bad back" year) dook was also like 8-0 before the ACC started and was ranked in the Top five/ten and before you know it that team goes 2-14 in the ACC.

    I'm not saying this dook team is going to fall like that and Kkajsdkjsadklajsdh on the bench will mean more wins. But if us Heel fans are underestimating dook then I have to say that you are overestimating them if you think they really are the fourth best team in the country.
