DirectTV DSL

    Does anyone have directTV DSL? How fast is it compared to bellsouth DSL? Been debating on trying it and was looking for some input.

    No first hand knowledge here, but this is my understanding:

    I thik it's a little faster than standard DSL. Problem is, it's only faster downloading. Uploading is still done by dial-up. That means it's still slow and it still ties up the phone.

    Have you considered Earthlinks DSL? They only charge $41.95

    Thanks Mark, don't think I'm interested if it still uses dial-up for uploads. How much is BS DSL, is it more expensive than Earthlink?
