Direct TV local stations and HD?

    If I have direct tv and the local network affiliate broadcast in HD and I have a HD TV do I receive the broadcast in HD? Someone was telling me that I didn't and that it was still just SDTV because Direct TV doesn't broadcast locals in HD. True?

    Yes you will if you add for hd channels.And get the hd receiver.
    I get my locals in hd.
