On Adkins diet how much would drinking diet colas effect me getting into kietosis. I know the carmel coloring or the nutra sweet may turn into sugar but I cant drink H20 all the time. I have been on Adkins for 11 days and my sticks are pink

I can't tell you an exact answer to your question, but I do know that they do say if you're going to drink soda (or pop as I said last night and got some wierd looks!) then drink diet. Caffeine free would be even better. I love being in NC where I can get caffeine free diet mt dew! :D

well yeah, but I like mt dew and since I've cut caffeine out as much as possible, having the caffeine free is what I have to take.

I'm not sure how it affects the diet, but i'm like you, i can't just have water all the time. I have one a day. The orange diet-rite helps with any sugar cravings i have. I also like Diet Dr. Pepper cause it is about the only diet drink i can handle.

Atkins says to avoid caffiene cause it will cause you to crave sugar but i don't care, i have to Have my caffeine.

Atkins says diet drinks are fine, but it's good to have plenty of water.

i'd rather drink a tablespoon of sugar than a tablespoon of aspartame.

but water is the best choice.
