    Brain is just reenforcing the fact that Luke, not Anakin, was the object of the prophecy.

    I thought Yoda's battle with Palpatine was more of a stalemate than an ass stomping.

    Before I go any further, I'm barely a novice at this issue.


    I read somewhere on the internet where they ranked each character by midicholorin (sp?) count.


    Anakin was #1. Luke was somewhere around 5 or 6.

    Google midicholorin and you'll probably find it.

    Seems to me Yoda limped off in to exile in a nasty ass swamp, while Palpatine ruled the Galaxy as emperor for around 18 years. You tell me who won.

    Exactly who checked Luke's Midichlorian level? And if they did when was it said so someone on the internet could list it?

    Palpatine won the war but the battle between Yoda and Palpatine was not decisive. I think if Yoda had enough time to fight him with out having to worry about a thousand storm troopers shooting him while fighting then he would eventually have won.

    Seems to me that there were no stormtroopers there when Yoda limped away. Furthermore killing Palpatine would've put an end to order 66, due to the fact it was a direct order from the Eperor himself.

    They were searching for Yoda's body which means they were close. Prehaps Yoda sensed them and knew he was out of time. Palpatine tried to flee near the start of their battle. Like Yoda said, why leave if more powerful you are?
