    UNC's had 4 coaches in the past 10 years and save the debacle 8-20 year they've been OK. Guthridge didn't recruit worth a damn. Doherty inherited a team that had noone that could start for any other team in the ACC. K is a better recruiter than he is a coach. He's never won jack shit with a less than stellar lineup. DES won the 93 title with the most unathletic Tar Heel team I've ever seen. K lost the title to the Huskies with the most talented college ball team I've ever seen.

    you mean that no good nba player christian laettner? and no good can't even play in europe brian davis? and that no good bobby hurley who played like 2 seasons in the nba? thomas hill?? marty clark??? so which one is it? k has quality players, or sucky players? you carolina fans are so caught up in the past and your damn excuses that you can't even remember what arguments you've had.

    what about the 94 team with ONLY grant hill that was a scotty thurman prayer away from winning the title? so dean smith wins a title with his worst team and he's considered better than K? how so? that makes no sense. if anything it makes him look worse because he had ALL the talent while he was coaching and won less. so he's actually an even better recruiter and worse coach.

    blue, you really are an idiot. i've read your posts on the panthers board about fox being a terrible coach. i bet you truely believe that dean smith could coach the panthers better than fox.

    94 was a lot closer than a Scotty Thurman prayer. We were an Antonio Lang cut fingernail from blocking the shot, and we were a bruised Grant Hill tailbone at the beginning of the game from 3 out of four.
