    Didn't like the very end. Thought it was tacky and just going for shock value.

    yeah I see what you mean. Rita sported some nice cleavage and watching Dexter spend another season trying not to be pussy whipped would be a whole better in season five than :

    Dexter trying to be a killer and a single dad – who the hell is going to watch his kids while he’s off wrapping cellophane around the bad guys?

    Not to mention that Dexter is going to probably go nutso and want to slash everything that moves since Trinity got his family.

    Considering the whole kid sitting in a pool of blood thing- the whole world is probably going to find out now that Dexter was orphaned in a similar scenario and that he was the Ice Truck Killer’s brother which means that…

    Dexter is probably going to be a suspect in Rita’s death now. He’ll have a hard time explaining his whereabouts while she was sitting at home getting murdered. He just found out from Deborah what happened to him as a child and he went crazy. Copied Trinity. He has no alibi. I’m sure Quinn will be all over that. And while the whole tough cop vs. Geek lab boy/killer is getting old it should still play out pretty good next season if they go that way.

    I thought it was a bad ass ending. Trinity laid there on that table knowing all along he had just ruined Dexter’s life. At first I thought Dexter was dreaming/having a vision when he saw the little boy sitting in the blood then they show Rita sitting in a tub of blood. Bad ass ending. Sets up a great season five.

    I'm way behind the 8 ball on this. A friend told me I should check Dexter out, and I noticed it's on Netflix.

    Is it worth getting involved with from the beginning?

    Yep, worth the watch. Interesting character and some pretty good performances.

    The first two novels were pretty good. Didn't care for the third and haven't read the most recent.

    i have seen the whole season , the trinity killer is the most dangerous villain ever in dexter .
