Ignore the fact sending so many top picks could potentially deep fuck us The, The PR nightmare would be a shit storm. We have Darnold another season, draft a line and a prospect and just say no

Yeah Paul but draft a line with what? ??
IF our 1st is high enough maybe it could be traded for a couple of first day picks that would translate into starting O-linemen. ..
The fuckin eagles (currently) would have #2, #6, #13, and #40. .. so if anyone will get to trade down it will probably be those bastards

This is what I said about Tepper in August of 2018:

There's a case that Watson with the defense not having to overcome sub Clausen level QB play could be regular wildcard contenders or given that the division is the Bucs only as long as Brady is around, the Saints look godawful, and the Falcons are stuck with Matt Ryan for a few more years.... Watson could put the team in the same place the Titans/Cowboys are now not super bowl teams necessarily but division win regulars.

Does losing first rounds cap the availability of cheap talent, yes but it's not the end of the world.

As for the PR oh yeah it's a shit show but the world has mostly forgotten about the guy that ran an interstate gambling ring predicated on regularly murdering dogs... It's morally wrong to me but the team/league/networks can wash a lot of stink off things when they want to.

Yeah, from a PR perspective, Miami and Carolina are counting on America's short memory. They're probably right, sadly. But you could still end up trading for a guy who gives you a wildcard loss before heading to prison next summer. It's just seems unworth it on every level, even setting aside the abysmal ethics involved.

Can't imagine it's been very fulfilling, like most midlife crisis buys. The fans haven't warmed to him, the owners probably still hold a grudge for him paying so much for Rhule, and the on field product has been underwhelming. This attempt to buy success with a franchise QB at any cost might be the last step before he gets bored with it. After that I guess the wife runs things?

I kind of hope so. It seems like the chick owners are more willing to stay out of the football ops. That's all I really ask from an owner.

I just wonder how those draft picks "could" fix this dog shit line for whomever is playing QB in 2-3 years
