    from Panthers.com: The Carolina Panthers have signed free agent cornerback DeRon Jenkins, the team announced Friday. A six-year veteran, he played in 16 games with five starts for the Tennessee Titans last season and recorded 40 tackles, one forced fumble, and nine passes defensed before being released in February.

    I like how the Panthers are signing some players that Del Rio is familar with. Now maybe we can make a big move and try to get Starks.

    Starks is probably out of our league.
    Davis I wouldn't rule out, especially if we go for a draft pick rather than, say, Chavous.

    I'd love to have Morton, but we don't need him. Get a WR late in the draft and call it done.

    He is a very physical corner with athletic ability. Not a great cover guy. Very good at stripping the ball, making big hits. Can leap.

    Had good hands in college, always good for an opportunistic INT. But other than 1999, he has struggled in his Pro career.
