Kyle, while technically listed as a LB, doesn't figure in. They have a spot reserved for him as the LS. Take away Ciurciu, and we're down to seven. That should be the number.

I completely disagree. He's on the bubble. We already have a special teams only lock in Hankton.

It doesn't mean he won't make the team, but he's on the bubble. He's fighting Seward and ciurciu.

I would be shocked to see Seward not make this team. I could see him replacing Karl on special teams and actually be able to contribute more.

Hankton isn't a lock; Adams is. For one, Hankton wasn't just brought in as a free agent with a decent-sized signing bonus that will count against the cap whether he's here or not. Adams also happens to be our best coverage linebacker and was being used as an example to all the other LBs in camp on how to do it. Moreover, his special teams expertise exceeds Hankton's, and allows us to make him expendable. There certainly will be cuts at linebacker, but a top backup veteran who has been working extensively with the second team and various pass coverage packages will not be the one to go. Draft would go before Adams, although neither will.

:banginghe Fine, you guys believe whatever the hell you want, nevermind that none of you have actually presented a single reason why he would be on the bubble.

Rotf...Ill always believe what I want to. Im not saying hes going to be cut...Im not going to say hes a lock though.

One reasons might be he hasnt made any spectacular plays on defense or STs yet...trust me, I hope youre right, that he stays over Ciurciu....and he probably will stay....Im just not certain hes a lock, thats all.

I think Draft is a ton more of a lock than Adams...

If he were playing MLB, I might agree with you, but they aren't putting him there for some reason. And Draft doesn't contribute on special teams.

I think Draft played alot of MLB tonight. I think he's a lock. I think they keep 7 and keep Adams.
