Dependent Care Reimbursement vs Federal Tax Credit

    Is it more beneficial to go with an employer's dependent care reimbursement plan or claim the credit when i file my tax return? i'm leaning towards the employer plan since it is pre-tax. Just wanted to see what other parents have opted to do.

    We max out the dependant care thing and get the credit. Neither amounts to spit compared to what you will pay over 12 months....:guns:
