In my opinion different denominations are divisions of the original church. So wouldn't being a part of one denomination or another be against the will of God? I think all Christians should come together as one body of believers and worship, break down those denominational walls, and teach the Word of God, not just what poeple in the congregation (hefty tithers) want to hear. Isn't this how all of these denominations came about anyway? I tell you the truth, God cannot be pleased with division in the church. Find a Bible teaching/preaching church and don't put any imphasis on what the name out front says!

I totally agree. The vast number of denominations within the Christian church is both staggering and heartbreaking.

That is a great idea, however, people like to worship differently.
I prefer some traditional and some contemporary. Some people really like lots of raising of hands and praising the Lord. Some like the quiet, very luturgical type of worship. I think it would behove us all to just UNDERSTAND that, love each other and move on.
(and quite frankly I don't think someone's gonna be at the gate asking "where you baptized as an infant or and adult?")
