    :D

I feel 'slightly' better that it was against Tampa.

He gets a mulligan. It was his 3rd ever start, against the best defense in the NFL, in their house.

    But he stunk.

I say give Jake a 2nd ball off the tee as well...but lay some blame on a lack of originality in play calling...Davis left, Davis right, Davis up the middle doesn't give him room to operate as he did against Jacksonville....Coach Henning--loosen the chains!!!!

COACH O'BRIEN!! WELL DONE ON SPECIAL TEAMS!!!

he made some big throws on that opening drive so start the second half - set the tone that we weren't going to back down.

got us 3 more very important points.

as long as we have this D we don't need an all pro QB

    Delhomme sucked.

His rating was 15.84. Almost poured on the Fasani magic.

Give him the bye week. We got the big W. Against a dividion rival in their house.

Nobody thought we'd win, I didn't. I'll take the lucky win, be happy about Davis being everything we hoped, and hope Delhomme gets better.

And how about Allen leading the team in tackles?

Delhomme made a couple of key third down conversions. other than that he was not very effective.

    It was the Bucs D.

He made some good throws. He made some piss poor decisions forcing things. Ability isn't a problem, just dealing with that kind of rush and the different schemes they threw. Everything from 2 deep to the zone blitz.

But with every game he should get better. We got on the job training, and still got a win.

    Long leash.

Agreed, and would have been nice to have that Smith pass actually count like it should have.

His picks seem correctable - they're all so fuckin' stupid.

I think his confidence got shot. He played alot better the first drive than he did the 4th quarter.

Long Leash. We know Peete's not our guy, let's see if Jake is. I think he is.

Actually he made two nice passes on our last drive on 3rd down. Just him trying to force stuff that's not there.

He's a cocky guy who wants to make plays. Take the good with the bad. Particuarly when we win.

If he had someone to throw the ball to it would help his QB rating ALOT! When Proehl went out, his options dropped from mediocre to almost nil. He did make a few bad throws, but even the most prolific QB has done that. I saw many of his tosses that could have been caught, but weren't. Plus, it's his 3rd start. Give 'em a break. I'll trade you for Aaron Brooks. :D
