The first dig was at Henning. I wasn't blaming Weinke for the pass, but it was high.

And no, I didn't want Weinke to fail. I wanted to win the game, first and foremost. I felt like he just didn't have it. But nice work deciding what I feel and telling me. It's wrong, but I'm sure that won't matter.

You're really harping over the fact I cheered a completion? Did I blame Weinke? Honestly, I'd call the earliest problems a combo of a bunch of deep passes we didn't need to try, and drops. Luckily, the D dropped some early, too.

It was the same chuck-it-and-pray shit Delhomme does. Pretending otherwise is just like pretending I really wanted Weinke to fail because I don't believe he's that good. Seeing Weinke out there do pretty much all the same negatives as Delhomme was fairly enlightening. For every "pretty pass", there were some deep floaters, and some passes that made it nowhere close. High throws, too. A lot of the stuff all of us have pinned on Jake.

And yes, this was worse than anything Jake's ever done. You always complain heavily about the INTs that Jake doesn't get credited against, because people drop them. Weinke could've easily had 6, 7. Jake ever done that? Jake ever throw for this many meaningless yards?

"Devotion to the truth". Come on. No one believes that. You're out to forward your own opinion and nothing more. Let's stop pretending you have some higher goal, purpose, or anything else in mind.

Not to mention the undying focus on me first and foremost, as if there's no bias there. And if you think that I"m being hated the way you are, you're basically talking about 9erpi and Golden Hammer, both of which were pissy well before you left anyway.

I wholeheartedly agree with this, though the "single biggest culprit" only because of his position. Everyone's fallen off the way he has.

No one, not meatpile or any other Jake defenders are so casual about lying that they'd actually say it was just chucked up in the air. That said, I appreciate the fact that you're not actually going to argue with me about the abject stupidity of you saying that Weinke today was worse than Jake has ever been. Whether or not people believe me is irrelevant. The way you judge the accuracy of that statement is to look at my record, and the fact is that I have admitted that I was wrong about players when I actually have been (Smith, Foster, etc) and that I've criticized players I like very much when they deserved it (Peppers, etc). Me being devoted to the truth doesn't mean that I'm always right, but it does mean that my highest goal is to get things right, while your highest goal is to establish status supremacy all the while disavowing any concern for your place in the hierarchy.

Of course I'm biased against you. I can't stand you. You make me physically nauseous, and it's because you're not stupid by birth. You're an intelligent guy who possesses the knowledge and skills to actually discern the truth and you waste all that to glorify your own ego. That makes you much, much worse than someone who is just born stupid. But while I'm biased against you, I give you credit when you actually deserve it and in cases like this where I am critical of you, I provide proof to back up what I'm saying.

You did mock Weinke and pull for him to fail. You did berate people who disagreed with you. You did say that Weinke just "chucked the ball up" on his first long completion to Carter. You did say that Weinke today was worse than Jake has ever been.

go back and look at the edit. Nobody else has argued that, and you haven't actually provided anything behind it. Jake's Philly 04 was pretty fucking awful, and to me, this was worse. This game was better than Randy Fasani starting, and not much more. Unless you love garbage yards in between INTs.

I've mocked tons of players. As have you. I came in wanting a win, wanting Weinke to be his best. He wasn't, whether you think his best is better than Delhomme or not. I didn't, and don't, blame the loss on Weinke. I don't believe he was the worst problem. I believe the same problems exist as existed last week that existed the week before.

 

No, I have proof. You mocked him repeatedly and then were so audacious as to pretend that a beautiful pass to Carter was just "chucking it up there." You did want Weinke to fail and everyone can see that, because unlike meatpile and others who just stuck to defending Delhomme, you went out of your way to bash Weinke in an attempt to put down the people who criticized Jake. That's showing how you care more about your status on TBR than you do about the Panthers winning. That's how sick you are.

Fair enough, I should have realized that you wouldn't have the integrity to back off something even that stupid. Weinke had a mediocre game with some good plays and some spectacularly bad decisions. It was certainly not nearly as bad as some games Jake has had where he had just as many bad decisions and none of the good plays. What you're saying is so stupid that it's still hard to believe that you're saying it.

My agenda is to get things right. Your agenda is to look "right" and to establish yourself as superior to others while insisting that you don't care about looking superior to others. Because I value truth more than appearances, I can say that I'm an asshole and that I generally don't care about hurting people's feelings and that I'd rather them feel bad but stop saying stupid things than to feel good and say all the idiotic things that come to mind. Actually, the only difference is that I admit when I'm wrong, not when you feel like I should so you can win a really stupid argument. You're saying I should state you're right on something just because I disagree, and you can't see it any other way.

If you want me to throw you a bone, you were there to absorb some of the comments I wouldn't have to make with you there.
