I aplogize for not wanting to diagram and chart my observation that meatpile is responding in a defensive way about Jake that I have never seen him do before.

the rest of the world doesn't give a shit about what you say. Only reason we're in this is you're following us around spewing. But sure, argue over the minutae between "I watched him for four years and decided my first impression was correct" and "I wouldn't change my mind anyway".

 

Got it. You can throw accusations of bias (after stating that you, yourself, are biased because you believe other people "like Jake too much") without backing.

 

You did kind of say that. That's what I really, really disagree with.


Jake's been very inconsistent this year. That's indisputable. He's some good things in the past. He's also on the plus side of 30. So we should at least bring in competition.

But saying he's not talented is wrong, IMO. Heart doesn't average 24 TDs a year.

 

nowhere did he say in there that Weinke is better. He said he could have developed into being better. I don't think it's insane to say that Weinke is a better pure thrower.
