Take Heart out of it. How does Weinke have more passing talent? In what area? He can't even throw left.

Jake's not elite, and we may go after someone else next year. But someone won those games. Someone threw those touchdowns, and Jake's been top 10 in that category. His heart didn't win those playoff games. He did.

 

So what's he saying that's inaccurate? Or me, or Piper, or Widdy, or B&B. Break it down for us.

I think he (we) are disputing how a guy with a passer rating 20 points lower who can't throw to the left is a more talented "passer of the football" than Jake.

 

You need to state what you feel is inaccurate in what's being said, if you're going to call him, me or anyone else out about it. Especially since you have that "I fucking hate it when anyone doesn't say something bad about Delhomme" thing.

 

it is. "it didn't change my mind", "when he came in", etc - you had your mind made up about these two before they stepped on the field.

 

It's not even a man crush on Jake. Honest to God.

Brees is better. Romo is better. Garcia is likely better. McNabb is better. P. manning is better. Brady is better. Rivers is better. Green is better. Hasselbeck is better.

Weinke is not better.

If we can find a better qb, I'm all for it. Weinke ain't that guy. I can't understand why Hammer so vehemently defends him, then backs off to 'we need a quarterback'.

This offseason - I think Brees was the only guy we could've pursued, and he was coming off shoulder surgery. So - if Delhomme isn't the answer, who is, and how do we obtain them?

Delhomme is the best qb on the roster, and I've no idea how to replace him. Any thoughts?
