Yep, no denying it wasn't one of his better games. Overthrows and the fumbles hurt. And yes, he held on to the ball way too long considering his line couldn't block 4 grannie's yesterday. It was a team loss though. Jake was off, the running was nothing, the OL stunk all day basically and the D had two major letdowns (Deuce's run and the Horn TD). We were 1-7 and had a shot at the playoff's on the last weekend. After the first 8 weeks I'm fucking happy to be able to say that :laugh1:

I'm just tired of seeing the highlight of his ass hanging out.

Expect to see it a lot this week, though :(

yep. bump for Pro Bowl, too.

60% isn't easy in this offense.

Anyone still think that Brad Johnson for $2 million a year wouldn't have been better than Delhomme for $10 million a year?

And Jake played pretty well yesterday, but the game may have been a hell of a lot different if Ronnie Heard hadn't dropped that gift interception that would have been easily returned for a touchdown. Foster had his long run on the next play so most people forgot about that play, but it was another example of Jake making a bone-headed throw right to a defender sitting in the flat without looking first. Had Heard not dropped the easy TD, Atlanta would have led 10-7 at the end of the first quarter instead of trailing 14-3.

Yeah, I'd still rather have Jake than Brad, with the age and injury history, and lack of arm strength for this offense. I would not have been, or would be, comfortable with him as a starter. I give him credit for coming off the bench and making Minnesota respectable, but given his age and recent history coming into the season, no, I don't think that would have been wise.
