    If we had 700+ pounds of Pro Bowl defensive tackle on our side like they do, I'd be inclined to agree with you.

    I felt the air go out after the return TD. That doesn't excuse what he did. He fell apart. But he wasn't alone.

    Offensive tackle Jordan Gross said the offensive line deserves most of the blame for Sunday’s loss to the Eagles. “Jake got the worst of the heat yesterday from the fans and everybody else, but if you go back and watch the tape with the angles we have, there’s not many quarterbacks in the league that would have done anything much different. He was getting hit left and right,” Gross said. “We claim to be the standard of this team as an offensive line so we have to do a lot better.”
    Gross said the team had a lot of “blitz pickup issues.”

    Jake obviously needs some blame, but yeah the O-line played like shit. Good to see the captain owning up to it.

    yep. fox also took play-calling blame, saying he should've used draws instead of screens on 2 plays that reulted in turnovers for TDs.

    I think he's fucking with the press on that part, but the part where he says they should've been more conservative, that part was probably about right. They did the things you'd need to do when behind...we just couldn't do them well.

    The screen game was supposed to be something Davidson was supposed to whip at. We had tons of screens. Granted being run-first means less screening, but we have backs, we have line. It makes sense to do. And we've been ineffective there. Granted throwing the pick was a bit much.

    I'd feel a lot more comfortable with the ball in William's hands under pressure than Delhomme's.

    what is Gross going to say? Gross: Jake has turned the ball over 11 times in the last two games, and since the Oakland game last season has 7 TD's and 16 INT's, we're screwed.
