    I picked up some NY am station somewhere in Kentucky tonight. They had some former player/analyst on saying without joking that since Jake isn't playing they should be concerned becuase they can't count on 4th quarter turnovers.

    I don't know if it was a record or not but Panthers.com says this:

    2,931 yards passing as a rookie in 2001 ranked second in NFL history for passing yards by a rookie, trailing only Peyton Manning of Indianapolis, who threw for 3,793 yards in 1998.

    Led all NFL quarterbacks with a team-high six rushing touchdowns.

    held out again today, but threw a couple passes on the sideline (friday) per gant
