    I heard this song a few years ago while driving down to Atlanta a few years ago (sounded like a live version at a concert). After I got back and a little research, I found out it was done by Delaney & Bonnie & Friends. Bonnie was actally an Ikette with IKE & TINA TURNER back in the 1960's at one point. Delaney was part of the house band on ABC's on SHINDIG TV show back in the 60's (think early version of MTV Total Request Live :) :) . . .)

    Do a little photo searching

    You will see Rita Coolidge ( Kris Kristoferson`s ex) with them ..

    Joe Cocker put them on 'Mad Dogs & Englishmen'..


    They are also the band on stage in the desert/rattlesnake scene in the movie
