Well, there's a bit of a story behind this game. I'm sure you don't want to hear it, but I will share anyway. :D

I have been waiting all year for that Miami/Marshall game. I circled it a long time ago. Don't know if anyone remembers, but last year Miami was pretty much cheated out of the game at Marshall. Miami went nuts. Their upstairs coaches trashed a press box and one of their on-field coaches would end up getting fired after punching a fan for giving him shit. So I figured they'd want to crush Marshall and that they had the personnel to do so.

On to yesterday... the last thing I do for a game is check weather. When I checked yesterday the forecast was for rain, possible tornados and a shitload of wind in general. So I start thinkin' "Hmmmmm, Miami is a passing team, blah, blah blah." Plus I had a shit week last Saturday so I am a little gunshy even though the solution is usually to jump back in the saddle and go. I mean, I still played games on Sunday and Monday. Anyway, the weather was fine for most of the game. I outsmarted myself and passed. And I'm bitter about it.

So there you have it. I wait all year for a great play and then my chicken shit ass doesn't even play it. I got madder with every TD Miami scored last night until it reached the point that my wife told me that if I didn't turn the channel she would kick my ass. So I switched over to USA and watched dumbasses get eaten by dinosaurs. I shoulda been one of them that was eaten.

:) I sound pretty bad, huh? Last night was just kinda frustrating. I had been cruising along pretty good until last Saturday. I've been mad since. Little bit of that talking in that post.

But I know a lot of FFers who are close to being as bad as me and my degenerate friends. Some of my gambling friends are big FFers too. I tease some of the FFers who don't gamble. They give me shit about the time I spend on gambling, but they spend just as much time combing stats for their FF teams.

I guess I am the only degenerate this week. :( Of course, if I were Dave I'd buy the TV instead of gambling too.

Iowa (-5.5) - Been riding Minny for weeks, but I don't see it here on grass with their QB hurting. If the QB can't hold up, Minny is toast. Iowa is good enough on D to slow them WITH the QB.

Va Tech (-26.5) - We may not show up, but if we do Temple is so bad we should kill them.

Ga Tech (-10) - Wake up call at Duke + UNC win last week = Cover here.

Memphis (+6.5) - Everyone and their granny is on Memphis which worries me a bit - this seems to be the touts "free play of the week" - but I like it too. Losing like L'ville did last week takes a lot out of a team.

Oregon St. (-14.5) - Stanford has actually looked better the last couple of weeks. Of course, that was against an offensively challenged UCLA team and a fading Arizona State that appears to be quitting.

USC (-29) - Arizona won last week. Enjoy it fellas cause it ain't happening here. USC will not let up. Call this one the BCS run it up special.

Air Force (+4) - Just a hunch I guess. New Mex played a big game last week against Colorado St. I wonder if they can get right back up again after that - kinda like L'ville. Lotta points here I think.
