Lapaz is fucking terrible. I used to love the place in the '80s when it was on Fenton - hell half my friends worked there.

Something happened when it moved. I can say it's some of the worst mexican i've ever had.

Agreed... went to the one on East Blvd and fell in love with Tacos Marco Polo. Best Latin dish I've ever had. I swear by it. Nice tequila selection as well for a great tasting margarita. Tried out the one at Stonecrest last week and the Tacos Marco Polo are just as tasty.

Everyone who likes Mexican (and shrimp) simply must try the Papa Con Camarones from this joint. It is a hugely unique entree. And very tasty.

If your ever in Battle-star Gastonia and hankering for Mexican go to Tequilla's on main street (Down town area) Their Chili Rellenos are the best I have ever eaten and the Salsa kicks ass

Lapaz is fuckin terrible. My wife (gf at the time) was in town to meet my parents, and we went to lapaz. I had to do the walk of shame. (The one at the end of the meal where you go to piss and 20 minutes later after you emergently evacuate your bowels you come back to the table...)

    FUck that place.
