    anyone that knows baseball, knows schilling is as hard-nosed as they come. he would pitch with a broken femur if it was at all possible and the docs and manager would allow it.

    with that said, we were at a bar watching the game. i didn't know until the next morning about what schills said in the presser. i was wrong. yes, shit happens.
