Wang and Small were brought up this year from Columbus. They did OK.

Joe West made the call in game three.....called runner at second safe...said Cano took foot off the bag too soon.I guess he wanted him to get his leg broke at second from the barrel roll by Anderson.

Joe West made the call in game four.....Figgins picked off 1st.Giambi put the tag all over him.West called him safe.Giambi could not believe it.

And yes Joe West made another crucial call against the Yanks in game five.I thought he ran right on the line to 1st and straight through the bag.Not inside the line.

This Joe West hating the Yanks goes back to the early 90's.He used to make bad calls against the Yanks frequently.Buck Showater hardly ever got to see the whole game from the dugout.West always threw him out after making another bad call against the Yanks.

West was one of the umps thrown out of baseball for cheating the IRS.They should have never bargained with the umpires association and let him back.He is really crooked in more ways than one.

The rest I don't know cause I didn't watch the games, but if Cano pulled his foot off the bag the that's on him, not the ump.

Mazzone is not going to the Yankees.Baltimore is still in the mix,but I look for him to stay in Atlanta.
