Please consider playing another quarterback the next time the Wolfpack has a 20 point lead or greater. We're not asking for Rivers to be taken out of the game completely, but it would be nice to have some players with experience next year when St. Phillip graduates.

    Thanks in advance.

Rivers needs his numbers padded for the heisman trophy. And hell, the game's not over by any means when we were up by 20- the made a run at the end.

Yea start moving people around and all of a sudden Big Mo is gone. It doesn't take long for a college game to turn. I'm still disappointed State didn't score a hundred, because I think it was very possible, OK maybe 60. But as a fan I didn't see anytime that I would have pulled Rivers. While the game was probably not as close as the score, UNC showed they could score very fast. And when Knight and his crew saw fit, the Heels got some breaks and capitalized(mysterious shovel fumble when Durant was stuffed on 3rd and short, drive ended with a TD, mysterious flag for delay of game after an INT, drive led to TD, mysterious stopping of clock with UNC out of TO's and no chance to get off the play for the 2 pt conversion, result 2 pts!!)

The point I'm trying to make is KEEP THEM ON THEIR HEELS. Don't start screwing with personel because ANYTHING can happen. The Pack will be fine at QB next year. Oh how many times I heard people talking about FSU and how they would suffer when Casey Weldon left, Then when Charlie Ward left, Then When Danny Kannell (sp??)left, Then when Weinke left. The Pattern here is that these guys all took over as RS juniors. (just like Jay Davis) Weinke was an old man as a sophmore. The Noles started to suffer when they had to play a RS freshman(hole in recruiting) in Chris Rix . Rix is just now becoming mature enough to handle running their offense and leading their team. This is the pattern I think Chuck is trying to develop. Don't worry about next year, With McClendon, Blackmon, Dennison, Hall, Washington, Brian Clark, and a slew of other recievers. OL returns almost intact save Locklear, and a D thats bringing back everyone including Hudson and Dawson, The QB won't have to win games for State, like Rivers has had to do at times. Rivers has truly been special, but I think State will be fine for years to come.

If we are making request for Amato, QB sneak everytime time we have ball inside the 1 yard line. Rivers would have been automatic there and the heels wouldn't be bragging aout that great goal line stand.

We ain't FSU, and I agree that momentum plays a part. But still, if the running game is working, why not let them get their feet wet a little?

Pretty sad if you're a supposed National Championship contender with a Heisman candidate and you can't score enough against UNC to get your backups some work. I'm a big fan of getting backups as much PT as possible, too bad the pack never thought they had the game well enough in hand to do so.

Your right should have scored a hundred. Read my earlier post, where I gave Durant props for capitalizing on some Uh hum.... Breaks. That Kept it much closer than it ever should have been. I think they scored more than enough points and should have scored A bunch more. Yea keep talking the Heisman talk also, It really sounds good in relation to the Wolfpack.
