    Adding the DJ Moore trade added almost 14 mil to the total. I believe Lukes final money falls off as well as McCaffreys.

    Have always thought of all that dead money as a sign of mismanagement and a big negative. However, of the four teams with more DM than Carolina there have been FIVE SB appearances in the last 6 seasons

    with THREE wins

    with the exception of philly you're seeing the dead cap of the roster teardown part of the window, they saved a lot of cap space to max the roster for those super bowl years. Carolina meanwhile has rebuild so poorly we're having to shed players for cap space without any of the previous success. The team blew tons of cap to get those 5 win seasons.
