    i listened to the second half on the radio today (Kilgo is a crack pot). the Wildcats crushed UT Chattanooga to gain a third SoCon tournament title for coach Bob McKillop.

    I gotta think McKillop will be given good money to move up soon. He's produced a few years now. I'm shocked he didn't go last year.

    his son Matt who plays for Davidson is a senior this year. i think he is the only reason Bob stayed as long as he did. he is a pretty good coach imo.

    Brendan Winters can shoot. Their record seemed a lot worse than it normally is at 20-10. Did they not do as well in the conference

    they had McKillop on the radio this morning and he spoke about this season and its adversity as opposed to the seasons past and their relatively easy walk through the SoCon then. he seemed to relish the fact that they had it tough this time. said they were able to gain confidence from having to struggle and come from behind instead of cake-walking everybody. he feels that they're more able to battle the pressure now.

    i also learned that he has another son, a younger one, thats at Charlotte Catholic. he just may hang around the campus up here for a while longer if this one follows in his brothers footsteps.

    on the way back from lunch i was listening to the radio and they were talking about tubby smith and his less-than-adequate tenure at kentucky and my mind went straight to Bob Mckillop. wonder if he could do anything in a REAL pressure cooker?
