Coach Mark Richt has said that he wants to get backup Junior Quarterback D.J. Shockley at least a quarter of action each game for the Georgia Bulldogs. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Sure Greene has struggled a little this year but he's a senior captain who's a heisman candidate and all Shockley has done is moan and groan and threaten to transfer. Even if he did we still have 3 good QB's right after him that could pick up the slack next year (Joe Cox maybe being one of them). This is an awful decision and I hope he keeps Greene in the game the whole time. He's deserved it

in my opinion, had shockley been the starter last year, the bulldogs would damn near be a lock for the national title this year. your best qb is on the bench.

I wonder how Shockley would have done if he had been the starter vs. LSU

Greene looks good at times but does he ever put together a full 60 minute game? I was not impressed with Georgia this past weekend at all and most of that came down to poor play by the QB.

We seem to always play down to the level of our opponents and play up for the big games. Last year we beat UAB 16-13 and Vandy 27-10 but crushed Tennessee at Tennessee 41-14 and beat Auburn 26-7.

I think Greene is a damned fine QB. It's a good problem to have.
