    Your franchise QB can't finish games because he's getting destroyed. He may not finish the season. And yet it's not making him play terribly to lower his price tag.

    If anything, your fucking bullshit plan is backfiring and he's driving his price UP.

    It does bother me that the team has a built-in excuse with the Hardy thing.




    Anyway, I wasn't crying Super Bowl after 2-0 and I'm not going to cry #1 pick after the last two weeks. Obviously Kuechly needs to shake out of whatever funk he's in and TD needs to get back on the field. Our strengths have to be strong every week because this team has a lot of weaknesses. Right now our usual strengths are among them.

    We hoped we could recreate last year's success with the same formula. Formulas have variables and Hardy and injuries are the most significant variables....in my opinion....

    So yeah, B & B is right on. Now, what are our strengths at this point?

    I still don't consider Hardy a significant loss so far. Addison has provided sufficient pass rush and Greg wasn't a very good run defender anyway.

    The things we complain about now - Shula being awful, the safeties sucking a bag of dicks, the offensive line - they didn't go away when the team was winning. They just were hidden behind great play from the defensive front seven. The front seven literally has to be great every week, and it's hard to keep banking on that.

    Our middle linebacker is playing horrible right now. I don't expect that to be an ongoing problem, but it is the main problem with our run defense right now.
