    A key cog of the 1970 & 1973 Knicks championship teams is gone :( :( . . He was general manager of the Knicks back in prosided 1985 when they won Patrick Ewing . . Man, I can still see him pounding his fists on the table when David Stern announced the Knicks had the first pick . . . 3 . .

    DD was one of my favorites - loved the Knicks - Clyde the Glide Frazier, Earl the Pearl Monroe, Willis Reed, Jerry Lucas, Dean the Dream Meminger, Senator Bill Bradley.

    DD took his turn guarding Wilt. No complaining. Solid team player.

    Word baby, they dont make many like him anymore. Some of these million dollar babies we have now could learn alot from the example set by ALL those listed above. A REAL TEAM.
